Paul Gauguin Cruises World’s Best in Small Ship Cruises

Paul Gauguin Travel + Leisure Magazine has released its 2014 World’s Best Awards and taking the top honor for small ship cruises was Paul Gauguin Cruises.

The luxury small ship cruise line, sailing the South Pacific aboard the Paul Gauguin, and Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America aboard m/v Tere Moana, moved up from 2013’s 7th place ranking.

Paul Gauguin Cruises Awarded ‘Best South Pacific Itineraries’

Paul Gauguin Cruises, operator of the highest-rated and longest continually sailing luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin, and the 90-guest m/v Tere Moana, was recognized by Porthole Cruise Magazine as having the “Best South Pacific Itineraries” in the 14th Annual Readers’ Choice Awards, which marks the third consecutive year that the cruise line has received this accolade.

Paul Gauguin Cruises recently announced that world-renowned oceanographer and environmentalist Jean-Michel Cousteau will guest host four sailings on the m/s Paul Gauguin in 2013.

Cousteau is a diplomat for the environment, educator, author, and film producer communicating his passion and concern for the Earth’s oceans. For more than 60 years, he along with his father, the legendary Jacques Cousteau, and his family, have been part of the greatest exploration of the oceans in all of history.

m/v Tere Moana to Join Paul Gauguin Cruises Fleet in December 2012

Late in 2011, Paul Gauguin Cruises announced the acquisition of its second luxury ship, the m/v Tere Moana. The ship will enter service for Paul Gauguin Cruises in December 2012 after a multifaceted renovation, and be renamed The Moana.

The Moana will accommodate just 90 guests in 45 staterooms and will reflect the high standard of quality and service already established for the cruise line by the m/s Paul Gauguin.

Paul Gauguin Completes $7M Renovation

Paul Gauguin Cruises, operator of the highest-rated and longest continually sailing luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin, proudly announced recently the completion of a $7 million renovation, the largest in the ship’s 14-year history. The renovation took place during the ship’s 10-night crossing from Tahiti to Brisbane, Australia, as well as during the 11-night drydock that followed, when extensive enhancements were made to both the interiors and exteriors of The Gauguin.
